TN Visa Pitfalls - Canadians Working in the U.S. Can Avoid Serious Problems By Knowing The Regulations

This requirement does not apply to changing your job location, if you remain employed by the same employer. It also does not apply if your employer gets acquired by another company, as long as you continue to work for the same subsidiary.
